Pardon me for saying, but there is only one other person that I know who is capable of stenciling as cleanly as I do. I NEVER get smudges, everyone else complains that is all they get. I show them but still they get smudging!

This cake was a disaster, the left side of the cake started crackin and sunk when I pushed the dowel through to attach the slingshot so I ended up cutting off the whole left side. I had a styerfoam ball on hand do I cut that in half to make the green hill.

Here's my Pug! He's made from RCT as the person that's receiving it wants to keep it; so I will make a cake to go with it. I am very pleased for a first attempt, and like most cakes, you always find things that maybe you could do differently next time. The airbrushing scared me a bit, but I think it worked ok?! Lol.

I put lights underneath him but in the light you can't see them much in this photo. So I took a shot of him in the dark too (below). A friend of ours turned 30 so his wife threw him an 80's theme party and I made him this cake as a gift.

So, I’m one of the first people in Loblaws (Our grocery store) today. I hit the baking aisle first so I don’t forget anything important. As I’m walking down the aisle I can feel sugar under my feet. Surprising since the store just opened. You’d think it would be cleaner. I’m walking through the other aisles feeling the same grit and thinking that’s strange. It’s even in the clothing section. Maybe they are using some new product on the floors to keep people from slipping in the winter… I go to cash out. I pic

Nice pic Bonnie. The condense milk into carmel, place the can in a deep pan covered with water. Bring to a boil for 30 min and simmer slow for 2 1/5 more hours (add water when necessary). I do other things while the carmel is forming.

Well my little martian man that I did just for fun will be featured on The website Between the pages in late december. This is my 3rd piece with them and it's so cool. They love my sci fi pieces! I have 2 more cakes to play around with at the end of the month and then I have got to get into gear for the upcoming cake shows on the east coast!

I wish I had a better picture but I woke up that morning very ill so I just snapped a few pictures. I was also very foggy so I didn't have very good lighting. It is iced in buttercream and the horse,flowers, and horseshoes are gumpaste/fondant.
