Carla we made it!!! Today was the last day of TX boot camp. I'm not overly keen on this picture (I don't like my pic taken), it was taken after this mornings class. We ran "trains" with the medicine ball, TWICE! Needless to say I could hardly stand up for this picture. Great 4 weeks though! Heading to the dr's to have my foot seen to shortly. Have a great day all!

Sadly Justin I just got the xray results and it looks like I will be taking it easy. I fractured my foot. Now have to go buy a pair of crutches until I can be seen by the foot dr next week. I'm so NOT happy right now. I just want to cry and not from the pain. It's my right foot as well so I don't know how I will be able to drive either.

She called it a small fracture of the 4th tarsal. When I looked it up on line it fits with a stress fracture. I'll know more once I get in to see the foot dr. Had to have done in during bootcamp (high impact). I should have listened to the pain but I'm stubborn and kept pushing on and so I'm paying for it now. I had a great time in class so I can't really complain.

Yes, Ms. V, very annoying, but I'm refusing to let it get the best of me! I'm working on putting together alternate workouts so that I don't lose all that I've done. Need to meet with the foot Dr. before I can do any cardio though. I'm stubborn. lol

So this was this weekends wedding cake. It was buttercream and the temp here went to late 20's I was frazzled!! The design is inspired by Anne Heap's beauty. But hey we have to keep our customers on their budgets!!! The damask is fondant cut outs.The top hat is RKT coverend in chocolate then fondant. I could really use a scroll work lesson!!! Some insight on how to 'get it right' :-/ Wonderful bride & groom! First time at this venue. Really done up well!!!

Oh the scroll work was done with silver gel. 1st time i've eer tried to pipe with that stuff...I'm NOT lloving it!!!

Hello all! I survived the Cub Scout camp out and all things considered it went very well. Upon returning home I received a call that my Aunt (Great Aunt) passed away. The phone calls were difficult, but she is now at peace and I will always hold the wonderful memories we made close to my heart.

I'm so sorry Janell. Hugs and prayers to you!

Sally, I surprised alot of the men that were there, especially with the fishing. I not only knew how to fish, but baited my own line. I'm still not that great at "unhooking" the fish so I let my husband do that. After my son and I caught the first 2 we had a group of people watching us, we caught 6 total. My son earned his fishing belt loop and we also earned the family patch. We ended the night with my son's cross over from Tiger to Wolf for next year.

Well thanks mam - yep - she's hand painted. I'm still not sure what happens to me when I paint but somehow I can hold a picture of it in one hand and paint what I'm seeing with the other. It's still mystifying to me - until a few years ago I never knew I could do this!

Thanks folks. That piece of granite was one of my clearance finds. Someone had ordered it at Lowes but the backsplash got broken, so they ended up marking down the countertop to about $200 bucks. I hired a guy to cut a few inches off for about $100. We installed it ourselves with the vanity. I bought some tumbled marble for the backsplash and hubby put them on the wall and I grouted the backsplash with a piping bag! HA!
