This proves the Casey can wow me every time. He takes a song I don't like and puts his heavenly vocals onto it and now I love it.
07/01/11 @ 3:58 pm by Joe Eckenrode Jr.
It really is great! You've heard some of his other covers, right?
07/01/11 @ 3:59 pm by Scott Fennelly
Of course. I believe I have heard them all but with a music producing machine that Casey is, I can't say for certain. Haha.
07/01/11 @ 4:14 pm by Joe Eckenrode Jr.
As for "recorded" covers, I think there's Beautiful Girls (Sean Kingston), Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (Elton John), Unison (Bjork), Brazil (Sinatra) and Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire. Not sure what else they've covered live other than Happiness Is A Warm Gun and Unravel (Bjork)... there are probably others though.
07/01/11 @ 4:32 pm by Christopher Lund
This is my favorite cover. His beard is magnificent.
07/01/11 @ 5:11 pm by Kristina Faraj
I actually haven't heard Brazil -- have no clue where to find it. I love all of the others though; The Christmas Song is my favorite.
07/01/11 @ 5:15 pm by Scott Fennelly
Brazil and Unison are both on Casey's 4-track acoustic demos (along with an acoustic version of "The War of All Against All" and the song "Paycheck"
07/01/11 @ 5:47 pm by Christopher Lund
I need to get my hands on some of these covers.
07/01/11 @ 7:03 pm by Justin Tracy
can that acoustic demo be found anywhere?

I'm voting Yellow! Wooooo.

I can get on board with Yellow. Every song is pretty much perfect.
07/01/11 @ 2:33 pm by Christopher Lund
At the moment, Green. Can't get enough of it. Previously, it was White. Although, I am slowly becoming an Indigo fan.
07/01/11 @ 2:34 pm by Cody Clark
Either Red or Green for me right now, but it always changes. =]
07/01/11 @ 3:21 pm by Jaclyn Lucey
Indigo. But pretty much all of them.
07/01/11 @ 3:37 pm by Tanner Chel
Red, Green, Yellow, and Violet. Or all of them. Such a great collection.
07/01/11 @ 3:38 pm by Joe Eckenrode Jr.

When you post something to facebook, it posts to The Dear Hunter's page, not your own. Lol... go check out the TDH facebook page. I think you'll find all your posts. =)

Anyone have a favorite color yet? I would say Red. Though they are all amazing.

All of them? At the moment I'm finding myself partial to Yellow, but that changes daily.
06/29/11 @ 6:06 pm by Christopher Lund
Green is most consistently the favorite, but who knows
06/29/11 @ 7:53 pm by Scott Cieslak
Violet I like slightly more, but every color is amazing
06/29/11 @ 9:47 pm by Sergio García
Loving black. Just so groovy.
06/29/11 @ 10:04 pm by Corey Young
Violet is really good. It sounds a lot like the Act albums. Mr. Malum is one of my favorites.
06/29/11 @ 10:11 pm by Joe Eckenrode Jr.
Mr. Malum is beautiful, but something about indigo makes me happy inside!
06/29/11 @ 10:46 pm by James Kilgannon
I love blue, green, and indigo. All freakin awesome
06/30/11 @ 12:45 am by JoeBradford
Black is my favorite personally. It's so unbelievably raw and full of emotion.
06/30/11 @ 1:17 am by Nathaniel Kilgannon
Blue...a perfect EP for summer nights.
06/30/11 @ 11:22 am by Joe Spedale
Mmm, orange, indigo, and black. Although, Things That Hide Away is one of my favorite tracks.
06/30/11 @ 11:23 am by Brittany Lynn
As of right now, it's green. That might change later. They're all so good.
06/30/11 @ 11:27 am by Ziur Acinom
Indigo or Violet for me. Hard to choose. D:
06/30/11 @ 12:41 pm by Kelvin Paulino

So, favorite TDH song that's not on TCS?

I'd say the predictable Red Hands, or the less-predictable Where the Road Parts.

Oh man... too difficult. How about one from each act? Act I - HHMHT. Act II - Embrace (or Dear Ms. Leading, or Lake and the River, or Black Sandy Beaches). Act III - What It Means To Be Alone
06/29/11 @ 3:34 pm by Christopher Lund

The Bitter Suite in its entirety.

06/30/11 @ 12:43 pm by Kelvin Paulino
I think you're the first person I've ever seen who takes their favorite from the DML demos!
06/30/11 @ 3:29 pm by Scott Fennelly
I'd have to split it between The Lake South and City Escape. I love the lead-in.
06/30/11 @ 6:43 pm by Clark Summers
