Sorry I missed posting yesterday getting organised for ICES am leaving soon: So this week FB is going to be a little quiet as some folks are off to ICES; apart from the obvious business aspect I'm looking forward to seeing friends from abroad always a highlight of my year and I am sure for others, bet there will be lots of photos posted.

Feeling much better today and packed Mr V. off to Osh Kosh for the big fly in -- he collected my cousin Delia, who posts here occasionally in Des Moine, she will will be ploughing around with him as they investigate the toys -- mmm lots more expensive than ours! LOL.

This year they are the WWII plane that was burried under 260 feet of ice. He should have a lot of fun. They are also cleaning house at the EAA and have a ton of items for collectors on sale.

Thanks all! Croatia is just beautiful and is becoming more popular with tourists, which is a shame really! Not bad for the country and their economy though! I stayed in a village called Brela on the Makarska Riviera; I didn't hear ANY other British people there, it was heaven! My friend who I work with is Croatian and has a cottage there, so he lent me it for a week...just perfect!

Morning all. Hope you all have a fun sugar day. My little dog seems better today. Increased her dose of meds so hopefully she will do fine. Putting fondant on the structure for my cake today. Started it yesterday before all the other happened. I think it's going to sturdy it up nicely. Time will tell!!! Hugs all!!

Good Morning Cake Junkies, we have a thurnder storm going thru it is a good thing. I had dance last evening it was a good class - new stretches leg on bar - push on bar leg out 4 counts & touch your leg (toe if you can) with your opposite arm. OUCH if you don't fall. I did almost reach the toe almost. Looking forward to working on projects and cakes today. Enjoy your day.

Hope you all have a great evening. I was busy working on my cake this afternoon when I had to stop and rush my little tiny Brussels Griffon to the vet. She had had a seizure this morning at 5:00 a.m. Then about 1:30 I looked down and she was having another one. This time she actually went limp and stopped breathing. I thought she had died. I turned her over so the foam would run out of her mouth and kept patting her on her back. I heard her start breathing again. I rushed

her to the vet. They did all kinds of test. Everything seems to be under control now but it almost scared me to death. She is so precious and I don't know what I would have done if she had died. Needless to say...I watching her like a hawk.

Thanks...she had another seizure right after we went to bed last night. She sleeps with us so at least I was aware of it. She is already on seizure meds and they had been working fine up until now. They sent off the blood work to see if we need to increase her dosage.

well i'm up early, my daughter left her car unlocked at work and someone stole her purse, only the important stuff was taken she didn't have much money in it, we got a call from the bank and someone tried to use her debit card! (we cancelled it yesterday) she only had $2.89 in her account so they couldn't get much! but now replacing everything will be a pain in the butt. i hope she learned she needs to be more careful! aaaaggg will i survive my 18 almost 19 year old???

There are some low-lifes who will stoop to the lowest level to try and get anything they can! I hope your daughter didn't lose any personal possesions?

UGGGH!!! It feels like such a personal violation when that happens. Some people are smarmy!! Hope she learned a valuable lesson. Make her fill out all the forms & do the mailings. This is a learning experience she should not soon forget! She's lucky her paycheck wasn't in there!!
